Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) — 3ml / 10ml
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides and is preferred over plain sterile water due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth, extending the usable life of a reconstituted vial to approximately 28 days when stored refrigerated.
AuroraNX BAC Water is supplied in sealed glass vials in two sizes: 3ml (sufficient for a single 10mg peptide vial) and 10ml (ideal for larger vials or multiple reconstitutions). Each vial is sealed with a rubber stopper for multi-draw use with a sterile syringe.
Reconstitution Guide
When reconstituting a 10mg peptide vial, add 1–2ml of BAC water slowly down the side of the vial. Do not inject directly onto the powder. Swirl gently — do not shake. For a 20mg vial, use 2ml BAC water to achieve a concentration of 10mg/ml.
